15 For this reason I too, ^bkhaving heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and ^{▼▼ Three early mss do not contain your love}your love for ^bmall the ^{▼▼ V 1, note 2}saints, 16 ^bodo not cease giving thanks for you, ^bpwhile making mention of you in my prayers; 17 that the ^bqGod of our Lord Jesus Christ, ^brthe Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of ^bswisdom and of ^btrevelation in the ^{▼▼ Or true knowledge}knowledge of Him. 18 I pray that ^bvthe eyes of your heart ^{▼▼ Lit being}may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the ^bxhope of His ^bycalling, what are ^bzthe riches of the glory of ^caHis inheritance in ^cbthe ^{▼▼ Or holy ones}saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. ^cd These are in accordance with the working of the ^cestrength of His might 20 which He brought about in Christ, when He ^cfraised Him from the dead and ^cgseated Him at His right hand in ^chthe heavenly places, 21 far above ^ciall rule and authority and power and dominion, and every ^cjname that is named, not only in ^ckthis age but also in the one to come. 22 And He ^clput all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as ^cmhead over all things to the church, 23 which is His ^cnbody, the ^cofullness of Him who ^cpfills ^cqall in all.
